“Botellas de Amor” is a project developed by the Colegio Nazaret Bello in Colombia in collaboration with a local foundation that is responsible for collecting plastic bottles. Plastic becomes a basic plastic material that allows the construction of inclusive housing or urban playgrounds.
Depending on the tons of plastic that are collected, the foundation gives the schools classroom material such as chairs or tables as a reward for the work done.
The projet objectives are:
- Reduce the negative impacts of plastics wastes
- Develop learning and social awareness about the importance of the Circular Economy: we transform waste into homes or playgrounds for our little ones.
