Do you know what it means to measure the Carbon Footprint of your School? Would you like to reduce it with your students?
To give you a boost at the start of this school year, we suggest you take action in the fight against climate change thanks to this great tool: the Calculation and Reduction of the Carbon Footprint.
We want you to be able to offer your students as well as your educational community this “learning by doing “ opportunity through a concrete transformative action.
For this, NATIVES has created an alliance with the European project “Clicks-On: Get Active for the Climate (https://www.clickson.eu/)”
The Clicks-On project is aimed at schools that wish to measure their carbon footprint – with the aim of reducing it – and, at the same time, raise awareness among students and teachers regarding energy and climate issues. It is a complete project adapted to the school calendar: in total, there are 5 phases that range from raising awareness of climate change to designing an action plan. The Clicks On project includes a set of educational resources, a methodological guide and an online carbon footprint calculator.
So that you can get to know the project better and imagine how to implement it with your students in your school, we are offering you a 40 minutes online session, next Monday, September 26th, where one of the project experts will give you all the the details you need to get started.
